Dear Families of Arvada Pediatric Associates:
Virtual Visits are now available at Arvada Pediatric Associates. As the Coronavirus pandemic continues to change our world on a daily basis, we are continuing to change the way we serve you to keep all of us healthy.
Virtual Visits are a way to connect with your doctor from your home. We are recommending these visits for some routine sick visits such as rashes, colds, constipation, vomiting, diarrhea, cough, and fever. These visits will be billed just like office visits and may require a copayment (as dictated by your insurance). After a virtual visit, your provider may feel your child warrants an in-person in-clinic visit. For example, we may see signs of harder work of breathing so that we would need to check oxygen levels. We would then bring them into the office for a continuation of the same visit. You will only be billed once for this if it is the same day.
We will also be providing scheduled virtual visits for mental health appointments, ADHD evaluations and rechecks, and contraceptive care.
Arvada Pediatrics will be using Doxy.me as the platform for these Virtual Visits. As a patient, you will not need to create an account or download anything special. The visit is secure and confidential (HIPAA compliant). All visits will be performed by us, the same Doctors and PA’s you know at Arvada Pediatric Associates. We will need your email address in order to send you consent forms for the visit and a link to the appointment. Simply call our office to set up an appointment and get started.
Of course, we will still be in the office and able to provide in-person in-clinic appointments as well, if needed.
As always, Arvada Pediatrics Associates feels privileged to provide care to your children and we greatly appreciate your health and smiles during this unprecedented time.
